Gower's newly elected Assembly Member, Rebecca Evans, has sent her congratulations to the staff, governors, parents and pupils of Penllergaer Primary School after Estyn inspectors gave the school a good inspection report.
Rebecca Evans AM said: "The good report is a tribute to the hard work of everyone involved in the life of the school. "I am particularly pleased to see the report make special mention of the good progress being made by pupils on developing literacy and numeracy right across the curriculum. The report also notes that the school provides a highly supportive and caring environment for all pupils. "The inspectors say that the school has excellent prospects for further improvement, building on the good work of the teaching staff and governors, as well as the partnership working with parents and the community more widely. This is very positive indeed." Rebecca Evans AM looks forward to visiting the school and being able to congratulate the staff and pupils in person. Comments are closed.
