 Rebecca Evans AM, Assembly Member for Gower, is urging her constituents to embrace the opportunity to apply for grants from the Welsh Government under the Women’s Suffrage Centernary Grant Scheme.
Rebecca Evans said: “The Welsh Government is marking the 100th anniversary of the vote being extended to women by providing grants of between £500 and £20,000 to third sector organisations and community groups for projects and/or events which will mark the centenary. “I would encourage organisations in Gower to take advantage of this funding opportunity to celebrate the beginning of votes for women.” The projects and events will be aligned with the centenary’s key themes:
