Rebecca Evans AM, Assembly Member for Gower, is encouraging micro and small size businesses in Gower employing fewer than 50 full time equivalent employees to apply for support from the new Micro Small Business Fund which has been announced by Welsh Government.
Rebecca Evans said: “This is a new investment fund aimed at supporting capital investment projects in the tourism sector in Wales. Tourism is a key industry in Gower, and I would like to see local businesses making the most of this investment opportunity." Support of between £25,000 and £500,000 will be considered in order to create and safeguard jobs; realise economic benefit and growth; and deliver quality, innovation and a sense of place. Rebecca Evans added: “This is another clear sign of the Welsh Government's commitment and support for small businesses in Wales, which I welcome wholeheartedly. I know that there are micro and small businesses in Gower which would benefit from this fund, and I would urge them to explore the potential of this investment to help them grow."
