Rebecca Evans AM has congratulated pupils across Gower on their GCSE results, and thanked teachers for the commitment and dedication they show. This summer’s results mark the end of the significant GCSE reform journey undertaken in Wales. The last seven reformed GCSE subjects have been awarded this year including History, Computer Science and Welsh Second Language. Overall performance across Wales has improved. Rebecca Evans AM said: “Congratulations to pupils across Gower on their achievements today. I wish them all well in the future, whatever path they choose to take. “Reforming and modernising qualifications is a major undertaking, and can only succeed when the change is being delivered by passionate and skilled staff. It is only right that we recognise the hard work of teachers too.” Comments are closed.
